湖州江南纺织有限公司是浙江江南工贸集团股份有限公司的直属企业，成立于1998年8月，目前拥有总资产一亿多元。公司前身为拥有50年历史的国有老企业湖州市人民布厂。主要生产棉类面料。1998年企业改制后，公司投入6000万元资金，对企业进行了大规模的技术改造，引进了96台日本“丰田”610型双喷织机等先进设备。目前，公司拥有瑞士“贝宁格”高速整经机、德国“祖克”浆纱机等先进设备。近公司又买进了150台230米的剑杆机.年生产能力可达1200-1500 万米。
